Luminous November Light

Late fall brings beautiful light. I wanted to capture a few shots of my property in the late afternoon when the sun strikes the dying foliage. My goal here was to "catch" the light and reveal it in the photos as as I saw it with my eyes, as realistically as possible. When editing the images in Lightroom and Photoshop, I made only minor changes in order to improve the image files for optimum web viewing. Physocarpus opufolius (Ninebark) 'Summer Wine'

Sambucus canadensis  (American Elderberry)

Miscanthus sinensis 'Zebrinus' - Zebra Grass

All photos were taken in Michigan on November 1st, 2014,
